RB, it blocks spam bots from attempting to post comments. It's a problem that I've seen afflict many other mini blogs especially motoringfile. They've all taken different measures to combat it, and I'd rather not have to validate posts or filter out suspicious words as others do. While they have complained about spam bots, I haven't had a single post of spam since using my very simple method. :)

Wow........and I thought breaking the factory tightened lugs loose was a bit of an adventure! The anti-seize seems your best bet.

Not much of that stuff here in SoCal.

Never quite understood the "Spamblock" thing? How does it block anything if the password is already given?

I've always just spun the wheels while the car was jacked up. Yeah, that means not using the e-brake when doing the rear wheels, and putting the car in neutral for the front wheels.

So, for me, it's a rubber mallet instead of a sledge. And I go after the tire from the back (not the face of the wheel). Hit the tire a few times, spin the wheel a little bit, over and over. It's never taken me more than a minute to get a wheel off that way.
