Effects of Political Economy on Upstate New York Cities
Project Description: This project examines the development of upstate New York cities through the lens of political economy. Specific interests lie in the impact of the mid-century onward, restructuring of these local economies on their growing minority populations.
Student Roles/Responsibilities: Collecting information through offical records and quantitative data which we will obtain via the web and through Bird Library. Also collecting interviews and other data from municipal officials and residents of these cities.
